"Fall to Pieces" is a song by Avril Lavigne, and was the fifth and final single from her second album, Under My Skin (2004); it was the fourth single in the United States. It was produced and written by Avril Lavigne and Raine Maida. It was Lavigne's least successful single in the U.S., but it was a massive success in Canada. The music video shoot for the single was cancelled.
"Fall to Pieces" wasn't released in the United Kingdom, but it peaked at number seven on the Canadian BDS Airplay Chart, her third successful single in Canada after "Nobody's Home" and "Don't Tell Me". It peaked at number sixteen in South Africa. Lavigne did not promote the single, and consequently it failed to chart on U.S. Billboard Hot 100; it peaked at number six on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart, and at number fifty-five on the Billboard Pop 100.
"Fall to Pieces" is a song by Velvet Revolver that appears on their debut album Contraband. It has been written by band guitarist Dave Kushner. It was the band's third single and was very successful. "Fall to Pieces" is a power ballad about lead singer Scott Weiland's battle with heroin and its toll on his relationship with his wife, Mary Forsberg. The song was #1 on the Mainstream Rock charts for 11 consecutive weeks and also hit #67 on the Billboard Hot 100. The band performed the song during their performance at Live 8, and it is the only of the three songs they played there that appears on the DVD including their performance.
"Before I Fall to Pieces" is a song by English rock band Razorlight and is the fifth track on their self-titled second album. It was also released as the third single from that album in December 2006, competing for the coveted Christmas #1 spot in the UK Singles Chart (see 2006 in British music). The song entered at #17 there and at #37 in the Irish Singles Chart.
The video for "Before I Fall To Pieces" features Scorpio (aka Nikki Diamond) from TV's Gladiators and actor Guy Pearce.
