"Anything" was a single released by The Damned in 1986.
Previewing the group's new album of the same name, the song saw a move away from the Goth rock of Phantasmagoria, moving closer to a hard rock sound. The single received lukewarm reviews, and considering the success of the previous album, and "Eloise", its' UK #32 peak was seen as a disappointment.
"Anything" is the third single from JoJo's 2006 album The High Road. The track borrows heavily from "Africa" by Toto, a former number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100. Producer Beau Dozier originally intended for the song to be sung by newcomer Tynisha Keli. The song was first introduced on March 19 2006 on The Second JammX Kids All Star Dance Special. It was rumored to be the first single from The High Road, but JoJo confirmed on her official website that it was just one of the many songs she had recorded for the album.
The single was the second official single from The High Road in European countries and was released in the UK on May 7 2007; it began gaining airplay there on March 24, eventually debuting on BBC Radio 1's playlist under the B-list section. JoJo was in the UK during the first two weeks of May to promote the single; she performed at G-A-Y on the May 12, and appeared on GMTV on May 8 as part of a series of radio and television interviews. "Anything" remained in the top forty of the Official UK Singles Chart for three weeks.
"Anything" is a song by American rock band Third Eye Blind, written by vocalist Stephan Jenkins. It is the first track on, and first single from, the band's 1999 album Blue. It is also the band's only single to not appear on their greatest hits compilation.
"Anything" is the name of a song composed and interpreted by 3T. It was their first released single, and was extracted from their first album Brotherhood. This single received a Gold Certification on January 26, 1996.http://www.riaa.com/goldandplatinumdata.php?table=SEARCH_RESULTS
"Anything" is a solo single by rapper Jay-Z that is found on Beanie Sigel's 1999 album The Truth. It is produced by Sam Sneed and P. Skam, who sample Lionel Bart's "I'll Do Anything" for the track's beat and chorus. The sample from Oliver! heavily popularized "Anything" as did the Annie sample on "Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem)." "Anything" is a bonus track on Jay-Z's album Vol. 3... Life and Times of S. Carter as is "Anything (Mr. Drunk Mix)" on the Japanese version of the album.
Jay-Z later released another song named "Anything" that is found on his 2006 album Kingdom Come.
