Andrew Blake (born 1947 as Paul Nevitt) is an American adult film producer and director. Nestled between his contemporaries Michael Ninn and Gregory Dark, Blake's movies often include fetish, bondage and lesbian imagery and sometimes exclude heterosexual intercourse entirely. His first movie, Night Trips was made in 1989, and was awarded the Silver Medal for the Non-Theatrical Release Category at the Worldfest-Houston International Film Festival. The film thus holds the distinction of being the only pornographic movie to win a medal at a major international film festival. Most of his films are released through his own production company, Studio A. Andrew Blake is member of the AVN Hall of Fame. Music on Blake's films are (mostly) original music scores by the composer Raoul Valve.
Andrew Blake, FREng, FRS, is a Senior Research Scientist at Microsoft Research Cambridge, Distinguished Visiting Professor at the University of Edinburgh, and a leading researcher in computer vision.
