Andrea Louise Martin (born January 15 1947) blank">FilmReference.com: Andrea Martin profile is an _Emmy- and Tony Award-winning Armenian-American actress and comedienne.
Andrea Monica Martin is an American R&B singer, songwriter and producer. She is primarily known for writing hit songs for artists like Toni Braxton-("I love me some Him"), Monica-("Before you walk out my life"), Angie Stone-("Wish i didn't miss you"), and En Vogue-("Don't let go(LOVE)") as well as SWV's smash hit single, "You're the one". She also sings the reggae hook on Lil Kim's song, "Money Talks," from the motion picture soundtrack with the same title. She has appeared on other soundtracks throughout the late nineties, including SPRUNG, which she and the male vocalist are credited as Bonnie and Clyde on the song "Since you've gone away (the lockdown anthem). She is also the vocalist for Organized Noise's song, "SET IT OFF" from the motion picture soundtrack of the same name. She has released one album of her own (The Best Of Me, 1998) as well as a few singles. None of Martin's own singles ever charted as high as those that she wrote for other artists , despite the fact that she has a smooth, powerful voice, and the ability to do reggae as well as sing (although the club popularity of a remixed version of "Share The Love" led to lots of session work for club/dance artists).
She appears as back-up vocal on many albums.
