Andre Braugher (born July 1, 1962) is a two-time Emmy Award-winning American actor. He is perhaps best known for his portrayal of fiery detective Frank Pembleton on Homicide: Life on the Street from 1993 to 1998, and again in the 2000 made-for-TV movie.
(1997) Chosen by "People" magazine as one of the 50 Most Beautiful People in the World.
For the 1996 Shakespeare in the Park Festival in New York, Braugher played the title role in Shakespeare's Henry V. He performed the role from June 18th to July 14th at the Delacorte Theatre in Central Park.
