American Crime is a 2004 thriller movie starring Annabella Sciorra, Cary Elwes, Cyia Batten, Rachael Leigh Cook, Michael O'Neill, Kip Pardue and Frankie Ray. It is directed by Dan Mintz and produced by Jeff Ritchie.

An American Crime (also known as The Basement) is a 2007 film based on the true story of the torture and murder of Sylvia Likens by Indianapolis housewife Gertrude Baniszewski.
