Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet Frankenstein is an animated horror-themed direct-to-video film, produced by Bagdasarian Productions and Universal Animation Studios, distributed by Universal Studios Home Entertainment, and based on characters from Alvin and the Chipmunks. It is the sequel to The Chipmunk Adventure and was released on VHS in 1999 and DVD (as a "Monster Pack" with Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman, Monster Mash, and four episodes of Archie's Weird Mysteries) in 2004 by Universal Studios Home Entertainment. A Scare-riffic Double Feature DVD featuring this film and Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman was released on September 4, 2007. Another Scare-riffic Double Feature DVD featuring this film and Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman is re-released on March 11, 2008, which matches that of another animated film Bee Movie.

The Chipmunks are in their second full-length animated feature! While the Chipmunks are working at the amusement park, Majestic Movie Studios, in a singing attraction. Little do they know that the real Dr. Frankenstein (Michael Bell) are in a new attraction called, "Frankenstein's Castle". After Alvin drives a crazy bus ride, they miss their next performance and get locked in the park after closing time. Dr. Frankenstein figures that the castle isn't scary enough and re-creates the real Frankenstein (Frank Welker) and after the monster finds the boys, it starts a wild and whacky adventure!
