Alisan Porter (born June 20, 1981) is an American actress and singer.
First discovered nationally as a junior singer finalist on Ed McMahon's "Star Search."
At age five she became a five-time junior vocalist champion on Star Search and was the youngest singer ever to appear on the show
Started her own band called The Raz. Alisan still acts, but is mostly focusing on her band.
At age 13, she moved with her family to Westport, Connecticut. There, she was a member of the Staples Players, a high school theater group.
At age 18, she moved to New York City to audition for Broadway. Within three months she was cast as Urleen in the musical production of 'Footloose'.
Provides introduction & feature-length commentary on Curly Sue DVD.
Has been cast as Bebe Benzenheimer in the Broadway revival of A Chorus Line. Coincidentally, her mother played the same role in the first national tour of the show.
