Alien Legacy is a sci-fi strategy game published by Sierra On-Line in 1994.

The set includes the theatrical editions of three of the films (the exception being Aliens), no documnetaries or commentaries. A fifth disc with a documentary (called The Alien Legacy) could be mail-ordered for free briefly details the making of the series. The documentary is less than an hour.
The DVD box set was the first by studio Twentieth Century Fox and it's sales determined their further input. The following year a Die Hard Trilogy box set was released.
The collection was released on June 1, 1999. This set was followed up with the Alien Quadrilogy in late 2003. This box set was a nine-disc comprehensive collection of the series.
The Alien Legacy has since been re-released as the Alien Triple Pack minus Alien: Resurrection and the fifth bonus disc as a Target exclusive. This set is considered to be the best option for budget and casual Alien movie fans alike.
