Alex Jennings (born 10 May 1957) is an award-winning English actor perhaps best known for his supporting role as Charles, Prince of Wales in The Queen (2006) alongside Helen Mirren.
He was awarded the Laurence Olivier Theatre Award in 1989 (1988 season) for Best Comedy Performance for Too Clever By Half.
He was awarded the Laurence Olivier Theatre Award in 1996 (1995 season) for Best Actor for his performance in Peer Gynt at the Royal Shakespeare Company Young Vic Theatre.
He was awarded the 2003 Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for Best Actor in a Musical of 2002 for his performance in My Fair Lady at the Drury Lane Theatre in London.
He was awarded the 1988 London Critics Circle Theatre Award (Drama Theatre Award) for Best Actor for his performance in Too Clever By Half.
He was awarded the 2001 London Evening Standard Theatre Award for Best Actor for his performances in The Winter's Tale and The Relapse at the Royal National Theatre.
