Luis Avalos (born September 2, 1946, in Havana, Cuba) is a character actor. He has made numerous film and television appearances, most notably on the 1970s children's television show, The Electric Company. He joined the show in the later years playing, most notably, Doctor Doolots.

He also starred as Jesse Rodriguez on the short-lived situation comedy Condo with McLean Stevenson, and also on the short-lived situation comedy E/R with Elliot Gould and Mary McDonnell, playing Dr. Tomas Esquivel. He also starred in the comedy The Ringer as Stavi with Johnny Knoxville
