Richard Jaquelin Marshall (June 16 1895, Markham, Virginia August 03 1973) was a Major General in the US Army.

He served in the 1st Division during World War I and became the Chief of Staff of Army Forces in the Pacific by the end of World War II.

Richard Marshall (born December 12, 1984 in Los Angeles, California) is a professional American football player who currently plays for the Carolina Panthers of the NFL. A 5'11", 189 lb defensive back from Fresno State University, Marshall was selected by the Panthers in the 2nd round (58th overall) of the 2006 NFL Draft. He has been a significant part of the Carolina Panthers pass defense.
