Patience Cleveland (May 23 1931 – May 27 2004) was a New Hampshire-born American film and television actress. Cleveland died from cancer in Santa Monica, California, four days after her 73rd birthday.

Graduated from Miss Porter's School and then Smith College, majoring in theatre under the direction of Hallie Flanagan.

Character actress known for headstrong roles on TV and film.

Played opposite Anthony Perkins on Broadway in "Look Homeward Angel" and Maurice Evans in "The Apple Cart."

Wrote and published "The Lion Is Busy," a children's book in 1963 to strong notice.

Youngest of six children.
