How to install WikiTap preview on my Android Phone?
The latest preview version of WikiTap is not yet available in Android Market. Thus such preview versions are considered Non-market Applications and you need to follow some special steps to install the same on your Android Phone.
Here are the steps necessary to install WikiTap preview version on Android phones.
Step 1: Launch Android Settings
Locate "Settings" on your Android home screen. You may need to scroll using the tab located at the bottom of your Android home.
Step 3: Allow Non-market Applications
Locate "Unknown Sources" and select in "Application Settings".
Step 4: Confirm Non-market Applications
When you select "Unknown Sources" from "Application Settings" you will be prompted with an "Attention" dialog box. Select ["OK"] to confirm your acceptance. Once you confirm the same, the "Unknown Sources" option will appear checked.
Step 5: Allow Network Communication
Select ["Install"] in "Network Communication" dialog, to grant WikiTap full internet access. You will see a message confirming installation of WikiTap application, after a brief installation progress bar.
Step 6: Launch WikiTap
In previous step WikiTap was successfully installed. You may proceed to click on ["Launch"] to preview WikiTap immediately.
Step 7: Important!
Once you have verified WikiTap preview installation works fine, we strongly recommend unchecking "Unknown Sources" option in "Application Settings" as shown below.
